MANTOVA GOMMA produces mixtures of different types and hardness based on polymers such as:
NR (Natural Rubber)
Features: Excellent physical and mechanical properties. Very good elastic yield. Excellent abrasion resistance. Good resistance to sea water and medium concentration acid.
Operating Temperature: -40 °C / +80 °C
SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber)
Features: Good physical-mechanical properties. Good resistance to abrasion and to permanent deformation. Good resistance to certain types of freon, glycols and brake fluids.
Operating Temperature: -40 °C / +90 °C
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
Features: Excellent resistance to heat, ozone and temperature. High resistance to permanent deformation. Excellent resistance to water and steam up to 130 °C. Good resistance to water and glycol, to chemicals and oxidation. Excellent resistance to steam up to 130 °C.
Operating Temperature: -45 °C / +130 °C
CR / NEOPRENE (Polichloroprene / Neoprene Rubber)
Features: Good resistance to ozone and sea water. Good flame resistance and possible flame retardant. Good resistance to animal and vegetable fats. Good resistance to fats, ozone, sunlight, atmospheric agents, flame and to different types of freon.
Operating Temperature: -45 °C / +120 °C
NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
Features: Good resistance to oils. Good physical-mechanical properties. From good to excellent impermeability to air and gases. Good resistance to oils and hydrocarbons, fats, minerals, plants and animals.
Operating Temperature: -40 °C / +120 °C
HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
Features: Excellent physical and mechanical properties. Excellent resistance to temperature of 150 °C. High resistance to permanent deformation and abrasion. Excellent resistance to oils, fats, minerals, plants and animals, hydrocarbons, gases and certain types of freon.
Operating Temperature: -40 °C / +150 °C
FPM / FKM / VITON (Fluoroelastomer)
Features: Excellent resistance to chemicals, oils, heat and flame, exceptional behavior to permanent deformation (compression set). Excellent behavior in ozone and UV rays. Excellent resistance is ensured to specific chemicals in a wide range of temperatures: aliphatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons, fuels, oils and fats, mineral and vegetable, hydraulic fluids in general.
Operating Temperature: -25 °C / +280 °C
SILICONE (Silicone Rubber)
Features: Extremely resistant to high and low temperatures (up to 250 °C), maintaining the elasticity to -150 °C. Resistance to oxygen and ozone (high temperature too). Absence of components that tend to evaporate or release gas. Excellent dielectric properties. Resistance to oxidation, hydrolysis, to the action of many microorganisms, water and water vapor, to flames, vegetable and animal oils and glycols. Fair chemical resistance. Nonallergenic and suitable for food contact.
